Lack of genuine repentance Lack of desperation for deliverance i.e. passivity. You are delivered to serve the Lord. (James. 4L3). Don’t have a wrong motive for deliverance. You must serve God in your church after your deliverance (Mk. 5:19-33; Mk. 10:52). Self-centeredness. Your desire for affection or recognition may cause problem for you after your deliverance. Failure to break with the occult. Failure to sever slavish relationship. If a person is under a powerful curse that needs further open severance. Failure to confess a specific sin e.g. abortion should be confessed as a sin of murder. Not separated by water baptism. If you are part of a larger base requiring corporate dealings e.g. problems of heredity, generational curses, ancestral related curses, etc.
